"Who Moved My Cheese?" - by Spencer Johnson

Do you ever feel like things have changed at work, but you can't quite put your finger on it?

Do you find yourself saying, "This place is nothing like it was when I started." Or, "It used to be so much fun to come to work, what happened?"

Or, maybe you have a situation where you're doing the same thing in your personal life, but not getting the results you would like.

This book, "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer Johnson is in "annual rotation," on my bookshelf at home. Meaning that, every year, I pick it up and re-read it. You could read the entire book during your lunch hour. It's not a big book. It's a book that will change the way you look at your situation.

Whether you're thinking of making a change, or just want to confirm that you're "okay," I highly recommend checking it out.

Maybe no one has moved your cheese - but if they have, you don't want to be the last person to find out.

This is an absolute essential little book to keep tucked away in a locked drawer, along w/your purse at work. It's a real stress difuser. Back in the day, this book was issued to employees at some of the largest corporations during reorganization and career development seminars. This itty bitty book and a paperback of Maya Angelou's poems for break and lunchtime reading has kept me focused and propelled towards my own career and goals for many years. In fact, I recommend investing in the "Who Moved My Cheese" mouse pad for your home office.
