"Corpse On The Cob" - by Sue Ann Jaffarian

What's not to love about a full-time, real-life paralegal, who spends her off-hours spinning tales of "Odelia Grey," the paralegal, part-time sleuth who somehow always seems to just "happen" upon a murder scene.

Only this time, the scene is a corn maze in Holmsbury, Massachusetts and the most obvious suspect is her mother (long-lost). But, as you'll see, nothing is obvious about an Odelia Grey mystery.

This light-hearted read is as satisfying as the lobster rolls, homemade muffins, fresh ears of corn and homemade jams that fill the pages.

If you don't know Sue Ann Jaffarian (aka Odelia Grey), then you can't possibly call yourself a lover of all things "murder mystery." Ms. Jaffarian's humor is what makes her books so enjoyable.

Other titles in the Odelia Grey series include "Too Big to Miss," "The Curse of the Holy Pail," "Thugs and Kisses" and "Booby Trap."
